What is Angle's Classification?

Angle’s Classification was developed by Edward Angle and is the first method that was developed to describe malocclusions. There are numerous other methods, but this is one of the most widely used classifications. 

The classification is based on the relationship between the mesiobuccal cusp of the maxillary first permanent molar and the buccal groove of the mandibular first permanent molar.
